A Big Daddy Signature item. This is a brand new tester on the market, my own original design. Comes with a 9V battery adapter, powered by a 9V battery (not included) or a 9V-12V wall power supply (also not included). This makes for easy testing of the original or rebuilt Gottlieb System 1 and System 80 power supply harness. Very easy to understand and helps weed out problem harnesses.

A Big Daddy Signature item. This is an idea that is meant to save some of the working System 1 MPU boards with corroded edge connectors. If you have a lot of corrosion on the MPU, this won't help much, but if it's minimal, this is a better solution than sanding or soldering direct as you can still retain all the original connectors and remove the board for service if needed. One common sign is if the game comes up with all zeros. Wire not included, takes even the novice about an hour to solder. I used solid core wires and once all were installed, it was pretty stiff and stable. Advice: I used a screwdriver to hold down the wire until the solder hardened up.

A Big Daddy Signature item. This is a replacement power supply board for Gottlieb System 80 & 80A pinball machines. Replaces Gottlieb part number B-19694. This is a different design than other boards available, you remove the top mounting bracket and screw directly to the backbox, using the bottom bracket as a ground.

It drives bulbs that illuminate the translucent graphics in the backbox of EK jumping over a bus, if yours is missing or not working you may not even have known it exists. Does NOT come with mounting brackets or hardware.

Slugfest

A Big Daddy Signature item. This is a replacement and *FUSED* Magnet board for The Addams Family Pinball machine. Many a playfield burn could have been prevented if this board were installed or the playfield magnets fused. When the transistor fail, they usually lock on and turn on the magnet which after a brief period of time will burn the playfield.

This board has two optical switches that determine the position of the dozer blade in front of Ted's head on the playfield. The motor shaft on the assembly has a plastic disc with one blade which passes through the two optical switches, please make sure your disc isn't warped to prevent damage to the optos.

I am supplying (4) four SMD white LEDs that may vary from board to board, and no guarantee you will like my choice. PLEASE NOTE: An unknown number of later production games did not include a xenon strobe board or its small transformer found in the lower cabinet on the power supply plate. This board does not require that transformer, only the connector in the head. Please check your game before ordering.

A Big Daddy Signature item. This is a fused replacement bridge board for the bridge rectifier located in the backbox of Williams pinball System 3 through System 11A machines, early Data East and early Sega games. Later games added the fuse, but if overfused, this bridge board can give you a 2nd layer of protection. Most games have two bridges, some games have three. These, now 30+ year old original bridge rectifiers, can fail, and there is no fuse between the transformer and bridge rectifier. If one does fail, it can ruin your wiring, transformer and even catch the game on fire. The Big Daddy BD-FUS-BR fused bridge board is easy to install, and comes with new spade lugs and a new screw as the bridge used is shorter than the original. All you have to do is remove your old bridge and replace it with this board. I recommend moving 1 wire over at a time to avoid mixing up wires (incorrect wire connections could damage the machine). An LED indicator shows DC voltage out of the bridge rectifier, and with this simple upgrade you are now protected!

This board is designed as a replacement for the following: Bally AS-2518-18, Bally AS-2518-49, Stern TA-100. When designing this board we didn't just make a copy, we did our research and made improvements and fixed faults the OEM boards and other reproductions had. We looked at competitors and various OEM versions. I truly believe it is one of the best on the market. Professionally designed and assembled by a team having over 100 years of electronics experience!

Features

• This rectifier board uses top mounted bridge rectifiers with proper heat sinks, which is a design improvement over the original bottom mounted bridge rectifiers.
• Heat sink grease or compound is used, and not all makers take that step.
• All incoming wire “E” connection holes have traces on both top and bottom of board to ensure that the current can easily flow from the connection hole.
• The “E” connection numbers are silk screened on both the top and bottom of the board to facilitate wire installation.
• Redundant E9 and E10 connections are provided for the double wires used for games that had AS-2518-49 rectifier boards. All other E connections match those used on the AS-2518-18/TA-100 board, including redundant E7 and E8 connections.
• Six test points are provided at the top of the board (five for voltages and one for ground) so that even an amateur can easily measure board voltages.
• An LED indicator is provided next to each of the 5 voltage test points (TP1 through TP5). The LED is on when voltage is present.
• The printed circuit board is fabricated with thick 2 oz. copper and all traces meet or exceed the sizes recommended by IPC-2152 for current capacity.

• Quality name brand parts are used throughout. Fuses are quality Buss, Littelfuse or Bel fuses.
• Fuse spacing is correct compared to many reproductions that can leave as much as 1/2 of the fuse not contacting the clip causing heat issues, see 3rd picture.

• All boards are tested with a custom made harness to ensure LEDs light. Randomly selected boards are fully installed with a transformer and offered for sale as a complete unit here or on eBay from time to time. One of the more common replacements was just "visually verified".

Note that header J1 on this board has 9 pins (the 9th pin is only used for Bally AS-2518-49 replacement). If your game has a Bally AS-2518-18 board or a Stern TA-100 board, then your connector will only fit over 8 pins of J1 and the 9th pin will be unused. Connector kits are also available.

The procedure involves cutting or desoldering wires from the old board and then soldering the wires onto the new board! You need to take extreme care to track which wire goes where. Big Daddy recommends installation be done by an experienced technician or seasoned hobbyist. Once installed and powered up, this rectifier board will have hazardous high voltages which include AC voltages (120V or 240V AC Line, 49V, and 173V) and DC voltages (230V and 43V). Extreme caution must be used by any person who is in the vicinity of this board. A Big Daddy Signature item. This is a brand new replacement Relay Board, also called a Relay Module, for the following Playmatic pinball machines: Space Gambler, Big Town, Chance, Last Lap, and Party. I added relays to all four positions, so this is a universal replacement that will take care of all applications (no matter how many relays Playmatic used). I actually used the same SPDT relay model in all four positions, but only the NO contact is used on the three right hand relays. From searching online, I never did find any application where the far right relay was used, but I included on the board just to be safe.

A Big Daddy Signature item. This is a brand new tester on the market, my own original design. Comes with a 9V battery adapter, powered by a 9V battery (not included) or a 9V-12V wall power supply (also not included). This makes for easy testing of the original or rebuilt Gottlieb System 1 MPU to Driver board harness. Very easy to understand and helps weed out problem harnesses. The push buttons are in order from 1-24 indicating those positions on A1-J5. The LEDs have a number next to it that indicate the position of the wire on A3-J1. In my example, I press button 8 and 9 and no LED, the LED is position 18 and 9. Both pins tone out with an ohmmeter at the back side of the wire, and the crimps look like they have good tension. But look at the third picture taken under close examination, corrosion. Replacement is needed, sanding is a poor solution! Harness shown for demonstration purposes only and not included.

A Big Daddy Signature item. This replaces the obsolete LM379S (U23) Audio Amp IC used on Gottlieb System 80 pinball sound boards and some Gottlieb video game sound boards. This is board A6 in pinball machines, sometimes noted as MA-309, MA-215 or GV-10x and stamped B-20887-ver). This is the IC that has the large heat sink on it and often fails due to heat as the heat sink can fall off. Later versions used a MA-483 daughtercard and this has been untested as a replacement. This is an original design, not a copy.

A Big Daddy Signature item also on eBay item 284201511001. Flash Gordon Strobe Board assembly built with quality parts. You will need your original bracket and standoffs, or purchase below. Each unit is tested in an actual Flash Gordon pinball machine. For added safety, this board has redundant bleed resistors to discharge the high voltage capacitors. You should wait for one minute after removing power before handling the board in order to allow the capacitors to discharge. From the Internet: "Xenon flash lamps have a lifetime of hundreds of thousands of flashes Typically, the emission intensity is decreased by 50% after around 100,000 flashes" PLEASE NOTE: An unknown number of later production games did not include this board and requires a small transformer found in the lower cabinet on the power supply plate. Please check your game before ordering. If you have an original board, chances are you have the transformer but no guarantee someone didn't remove it.

This replacement is only for the Big Daddy Strobe Board Assembly, and does not fit the Bally factory strobe board!
