Many original Williams boards suffered from battery corrosion and issues with the interconnect, this board replaces both MPU and Driver boards. No need to install game ROMs, all are built in (including Leon's Test ROM) and set by a DIP switch. Built in diagnostics, and many improvements using more modern components. Comes with installation instructions, schematics and one CR2430 Lithium battery. Please note as of 1/5/2018 System 7 games(including Black Knight) are no longer supported, Rottendog is only supporting games System 3 through System 6. A parts change due to availability created a problem making it unusable in most System 7 games, it supposedly works in some, and Rottendog cannot find a solution.

This completely redesigned board replaces the MPU board in all Williams System 9 through 11B games, NOW INCLUDING System 9-11 early games such as Comet and High Speed, view the full list below. Please note games with an (*) are 11C and you can use this board or the Rottendog MPU011C. This new board has two small balancing pots to compensate the differences in volume on the MPU and sound board. For System 9 games, the sound board is not longer needed and incorporated in the new MPU board. Customs EPROMs are required for the System 9 games, I can provide or you can make your own with the images I can provide. For all games you must move over your (2) 6802 or 6808 processors or buy here. For System 11 games, you will need to swap over your two Game ROMS and two sound ROMs from your MPU board, or I will have options to buy them here in the future. All 6821s chips are provided, and the MPU9211 comes with NVRAM installed, no batteries needed! Please note: Some Shuffle Alley games are unverified and may not work including Alley Cats and Strike Zone although there are some sites that say they work. Shuffle Inn is not verified. Big Daddy gives generous credit for MPU & sound boards returned, that amount depends on condition.

Only Addams Family and TAF Gold used the type I board, and when installing this you will leave connector marked J801 unplugged.
